About Benedicts of Whalley

The cafe bar has become a hub in Whalley over the past five years and has increased in size twice to absorb the constant demand for tables.

Ribble Valley tourism have called it “the place people want to meet”.

 GQ maganize listed us as a destination in April 2016 and our listing in Hardens restaurant guide is testament to the standard of food we offer.

Add in to that mix The Times listing us in 2015 as number 9 in the top 25 places in the UK for brunch and in 2015 top places in the North West for “cheap eats” you will realise we are an anomaly…. and we love it!

Our kitchen team is led by Matthew Whewell who has relocated back to the north after working for many years at various Cambridge colleges and earlier at Harvey Nichols Deansgate. His energy is the kitchen is infectious and his passion for seasonality and local produce is exciting. Our menu is under construction, but the daily specials board is worth a trip in itself.
