About Benedicts of Whalley

The cafe bar has become a hub in the centre of Whalley where you can meet from 9am for coffee or maybe one of  your favourite breakfasts…. ( see our menu section via the menu button  for our current  offerings).

Or perhaps you want some time on your own with the newspaper and a bit of sanctuary from the day you have ahead!

Whatever the reason… we will be glad to see you!  The team offer smiles for free and are also all trained baristas delivering fabulous coffee from our local roaster.

Benedicts is actually part of our mothership Maureen Cooksons and started life as an area for customers to find time after shopping for their  new wardrobe needs.  With over 60 years of evolution we still remain one of the largest independent womenswear stores in the County and proud of our reputation that extends way beyond the borders of Lancashire.

We welcome well behaved dogs into Benedicts as we are blessed with wonderful walking country on our doorstep, and as the owner, Hilary is a passionate animal lover…. that was always a given.  (We also have a doggy deli instore with wonderful treats and drinks!)

The kitchen team are young and creative, so there will always be additional daily specials to run alongside our menus, and an everchanging list of cakes and desserts to tempt the most hardened of dieters!

We also have B’s deli next door — where you can buy takeaway food,  hot drinks and meals along with everything from snails to scones!

With hampers and gift vouchers… homemade sloe and damson gin and our daily fresh breads….  we really are a one stop shop!
